I really like this, it's way more useful than Android Auto as you can use any apps, not just compatible ones. It also doesn't change the text size so you can see a good amount of info, unlike Auto which seems to be designed for the driver behind you to read. I've given 5 stars but I hope future improvements are made. The app should force the phone to landscape when it connects, I want to be able to connect the cable and then throw the phone in the glovebox. It would be even better if I didn't have to connect the lead at all but I know that is way to much data traffic for Bluetooth - why don't head units have wifi? ;)

It does work peeps. The app isn't supposed to open or do anything when you click on it, you have to switch the head unit mode from Android auto to Android mirroring and then connect your phone. Don't know why they don't have better instructions than that but it does work. -1 star for poor instruction and sling tv won't cast for some reason, may not even be the mirroring apps fault there idk.

The app does work, it just doesn't look like it's opening, because there's nothing to open. You've just got to connect the parking brake wire correctly (or hack it and bypass it) to get anything to appear on the screen. Documentation would be nice Kenwood.
